The venue may only be used for the purpose stated on the booking form and only the area paid for may be used.
The Hirer shall not sub-hire the premises, or allow the premises to be used for any unlawful or unauthorized activity.
The Hirer (or their Authorized Representative, not being a person under 21 years of age), should be on the premises during the period of the booking.
The Management Committee has the right to refuse a booking without giving a reason.
All bookings are to be made through the CRM Hallmaster
Hallmaster is fully compliant with GDPR
Regular bookings are those that have a higher frequency than once a month i.e. 12+ bookings a year.
Such bookings will be invoiced on the last day of each month
Payment is through stripe
All regular bookings have a 4 week (1 full month ) termination clause
In the unlikely event that an account falls behind, we may not be able to guarantee your regular booking, and the space may need to be offered to another client.
We value open, honest communication and kindly ask all regular bookings to keep us informed of any changes to their circumstances so we can support you as best we can.
An adhoc booking is classified as a one off booking or a combination of bookings that collectively is less than one a month
All adhoc bookings require £100 refundable damage deposit
These bookings are payable with immediate effect
Payment is through stripe
The deposit will be refunded within 5 working days post your event providing the facilities have been left in 'hire worthy' condition and no damage has been sustained.
Cancellations: We understand that cancellations may occasionally be unavoidable. However, we require a minimum of 72 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice will result in 50% of the deposit being retained, as the space cannot be re‑hired at such short notice.
Weddings, Wakes and events within the church itself have a separate more comprehensive T & Cs
The hirer will, during the period of the hiring, be responsible for supervision of the premises. They also accept responsibility for any damage, however slight, to the building and the contents.
Hirers must leave the Hall or Room in the same clean and tidy condition as they find it. Hirers are responsible for the set up and break down of each room, this includes setting up and putting away tables and chairs. They will also be responsible for making good any damage or loss and for ensuring that the requirements of the Law in regard to the use are fully observed, to obtain licenses where necessary and pay such fees or royalties as may be due. The Hirer will need to check if the need a Temporary Events Notice or an Alcohol License.
